- What is the worship service like?  
Our worship service is open to all and is live-streamed on our website and Facebook page. We joyfully welcome children, and we encourage you to move around with them as needed. Worship at Christ Church is inclusive, engaging, and welcoming for everyone.

- What does it mean that Christ Church UCC is Open and Affirming? 
As an Open and Affirming congregation, we embrace and affirm the dignity of all people, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or faith background. Everyone is welcome to fully participate in the life and leadership of our church.

- How does Christ Church UCC support mental health?  
Christ Church UCC is a WISE (Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, and Engaged) congregation committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. We strive to create a safe and compassionate space for people with mental health challenges, offering support, advocacy, and inclusion in all aspects of church life.

- What is available for children during the service?  
Children are a cherished part of our worship service. We believe families worshipping together is a beautiful thing. We offer a range of resources for children, including toys and activities in the Narthex, Sunday School during the service (every other week), and a play area during fellowship time. Our goal is to make sure children feel welcome and engaged in worship. 

- Are there accessible restrooms?  
Yes, we have both gender-neutral and gendered restrooms available. The gender-neutral restrooms are fully accessible and one is equipped with a changing table. We also have changing tables in the gendered restrooms located downstairs.

- Can I find a quiet space for reflection?  
Yes, we have a Memorial Garden and a Little Library Courtyard where you can find peaceful benches for quiet reflection. These spaces are perfect for moments of prayer or solitude.

- Where should I park?
Our parking lot is located behind our building an accessible via Cora St. and Walnut Ave.

- Do you have an accessible entrance?
Yes. Please enter through the right side of our garden, which is accessed through our parking lot. You will enter Wobbe Hall, take a left through the double doors, and follow the hallway to the sanctuary. Our accessible restroom is located adjacent to the kitchen in Wobbe Hall.

- How long are services?
Our worship services are typically one hour long.

- What should I wear?
There is no dress code, and you are invited to dress comfortably. Though members tend to dress respectfully for the occasion, styles vary widely, especially during summer. You’ll see anything from jeans to slacks to “Sunday Best.”

- What about Communion?
Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month and on special days in the church calendar. It is an "open table," meaning it is available to all.

- How can I participate in the service?
We encourage active participation in our services. Opportunities include serving as liturgists, lectors, ushers, and greeters. If you're interested in getting involved, please speak with one of our staff members or contact the church office.
